For ChatGPT, Claude and any MCP client
Use EventRel from your AI assistant
Connect once and your assistant can search EventRel, cite the pages it used, and, when you sign in, save things, publish your work and launch your product for you. EventRel supplies the data. Your assistant does the thinking.
Server address
https://eventrel.org/mcpRemote MCP over HTTPS (Streamable HTTP). Sign-in uses OAuth with PKCE, and your assistant finds everything it needs from this address.
Bring EventRel into ChatGPT
Download this plugin, add it at chatgpt.com, then ask ChatGPT to find EventRel jobs and playbooks, compare tools or explore market signals without leaving your conversation.

Connect in a minute
ChatGPT
- Open chatgpt.com in a web browser. Use the web version for setup and your first conversation so the plugin tools load correctly.
- Download the ready-to-install ZIP above. Keep it zipped.
- Open Customize, then Plugins, press Add and choose Upload plugin archive.
- Select the downloaded ZIP, review the permissions and install it.
- Connect the plugin, sign in with your EventRel account and press Allow.
- Start a new chat, select EventRel, and ask: “Find me senior EventRel jobs posted this week.”
If the desktop app does not show the plugin tools, continue the conversation at chatgpt.com.
Claude
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector and paste the server address above.
- Sign in with your EventRel account and press Allow.
- Claude Code: run the command below, then /mcp to sign in.
claude mcp add --transport http eventrel https://eventrel.org/mcpIf archive upload is unavailable on your plan, choose Add custom MCP server, name it gtm_daily, paste the server address above and choose OAuth. Connector menus differ by plan and change often. Any other MCP client that supports remote servers and OAuth works with the same address.
How does sign-in work? ChatGPT opens the normal EventRel sign-in page. Sign in once, approve the connection and return to your conversation. No account yet? Create one, it is free.
Try asking
- Which EventRel tools integrate with HubSpot and have a free plan?
- Which events and community jobs mention Luma or HubSpot this month, and how many jobs is that out of?
- Compare three tools for attendee matchmaking at a 400 person conference.
- Save these notes to my EventRel inbox, then help me turn them into a post.
- Launch my new tool Atlasflow on EventRel next Tuesday at 10 AM Berlin time.

Safety and privacy
- Your account stays in charge. Sign in to save items or work with your own content, and disconnect the assistant whenever you like.
- You stay in control. You approve the access when you connect, and you can disconnect any assistant at any time on your connections page.
- Nothing is published without a clear yes. Publishing, launching and newsletter sign-up need your explicit confirmation, and the result always shows the real state (for example “waiting for review”, never a false “live”).
- Your notes are private. Text you choose to paste into your knowledge inbox is visible only to you. EventRel cannot read your ChatGPT or Claude history, and only text you paste is ever stored.
- Same rules as the website. Gated content stays gated, listings need verified ownership, and moderation still applies.
- Data, not opinions. Counts come with dates, sample sizes and limits. Unknown stays unknown.
For developers
Transport is stateless Streamable HTTP with JSON responses. ChatGPT can read initialize and tools/list schemas before sign-in so it can start OAuth; every tool call requires a valid bearer token and is authorized against the live account role.
Discovery
https://eventrel.org/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource
https://eventrel.org/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server
OAuth 2.1
Dynamic client registration at https://eventrel.org/oauth/register, authorization code with S256 PKCE only, exact redirect URI match (https, or http on localhost). Access tokens last 1 hour, refresh tokens rotate, and https://eventrel.org/oauth/revoke ends a grant at once.
Try it with curl
curl -s -X POST https://eventrel.org/mcp \
-H 'content-type: application/json' \
-H 'accept: application/json, text/event-stream' \
-H 'authorization: Bearer YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN' \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call","params":{"name":"search_event_tools","arguments":{"query":"matchmaking"}}}'Results
Every tool returns status, data, warnings, next_cursor, missing_fields, next_step, correlation_id as structured content. Lists use opaque cursors. Records carry a canonical EventRel URL, dates and limitations so you can cite them. Errors use codes such as UNAUTHENTICATED, FORBIDDEN, MISSING_REQUIRED_FIELDS, CONFLICT_VERSION, RATE_LIMITED and CONFIRMATION_REQUIRED.

Limits: 150 reads and 40 writes per minute per account, 1 MB request bodies, imports up to 16,000 characters per call. Every write takes an idempotency key so retries never repeat an action.
If something does not work when you report it, include the correlation_id from the result so it can be traced without sharing any of your content.
